Michelle Green is a passionate leader with over 20 years of experience in the dental industry. As a co-founder of Pacific Northwest Smiles alongside Dr. Darren Greenhalgh in 2004, Michelle has played a pivotal role in shaping the practice into the thriving, patient-centered success it is today.
In addition to her work at Pacific Northwest Smiles, Michelle is the founder of Leaders of Dentistry, an organization dedicated to fostering passionate leadership within dental practices.
She is committed to empowering dental professionals to enhance their leadership abilities and create positive, collaborative environments that benefit both teams and patients.
Within the practice, Michelle wears many hats, playing an integral role in both patient interaction and behind-the-scenes operations. From personally greeting patients with warmth and care to overseeing key administrative functions, she ensures that every aspect of the practice runs smoothly and that patients always feel valued and supported.
As an internal leadership coach, Michelle focuses on fostering strong, cohesive relationships between the team and patients. Her leadership philosophy centers around delivering the highest level of care, with a patient-first mindset at the core of every interaction.
As a graduate of the Seattle Coach Training and Development Program, Michelle is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), credentialed through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is continually refining her skills and knowledge to support the growth of dental professionals and practices alike.
Outside of her professional life, Michelle cherishes time spent with her husband and two sons.
She is an avid learner and is deeply committed to her own personal development, regularly attending classes and seminars focused on health, leadership, and self-improvement, and overall health and wellness."
Vanessa G.: Patient Care Coordinator/Social Media Manager
The friendly face at the front desk! She is our insurance and billing specialist always ready to help with your questions or concerns. Vanessa is dedicated to helping patients with every step of their dental visit from making patients feel comfortable, scheduling their appointments, to processing their insurance claims. When she is not in office, you can find her running, cooking and being outdoors. Vanessa loves spending time with her daughter and fiancé. As a family they enjoy exploring new beaches, road trips, trying new foods."
Mayra G. RDA: Patient Care Coordinator
Mayra has been part of our team since 2009. Mayra will ensure that your dental experience is a pleasant one. She has been highly trained by our experienced dentist in all clinical aspects. Mayra enjoys learning, and has been involved with many dental continuing education programs, such as CEREC “one appointment crowns”, Invisalign, implants and ZOOM whitening. Mayra enjoys every opportunity to utilize her Spanish speaking skills. In her free time, you can find her chasing her two kids and their dog around the house. Mayra and her husband love to create new family experiences, from enjoying a new park to relaxing on a tropical beach.
Valeria Q. : Dental Hygienist
Valeria has been dedicated to dentistry for four years, bringing care and compassion to every patient she meets. Her favorite part of her job is building meaningful relationships with patients and helping them overcome dental anxiety and fears. She takes pride in creating a calm and welcoming environment to ensure every patient feels at ease during their visit. Valeria believes that a healthy smile is key to confidence and enjoys being part of her patients’ journeys to achieving their best oral health.
Outside of the office, Valeria enjoys spending time with her husband and their Giant Schnauzer, Rocky, who never fails to keep her entertained. Whether she’s traveling to new destinations or exploring hiking trails, Valeria loves embracing adventure and making memories in the great outdoors."
Carrie N.: Dental Hygienist
Carrie has worked in the dental field since 1999 and has been a dental hygienist since 2006. She joined our practice in 2013. Carrie's education and experience allows her to provide thorough care with a personable and comfortable touch. Outside of the office, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and their teenagers. Together, they enjoy their hobbies of farming, hiking, camping and adventures at the beach.

Nataya has been practicing Dental Hygiene since graduating from Shoreline Community College in 2013. She enjoys working with returning and new patients to better their oral and overall health, striving to make every visit a gentle relaxing experience. When she is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids. Some of their favorite activities include hiking, backpacking, family games, and biking.
Crystal M.: RDA, Patient Care Coordinator
Crystal brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role as a dental assistant and patient care coordinator. She has been in the dental field since 2003 and takes great pride in being part of transformative smile cases and assisting with extractions. Outside of the office, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family, including her teenage children and their sweet dog, Butters. Whether she’s relaxing at Crescent Bar or visiting Arizona, she treasures creating lasting memories with her loved ones.
Cierra T.: RDA, Patient Care Coordinator
Cierra has been in dentistry for three years and is passionate about providing exceptional care to her patients. She has a strong desire to continue her journey in the dental field and aspires to attend dental school in the future. Outside of work, Cierra enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s hitting the slopes snowboarding or horseback riding through scenic trails. She also loves spending quality time with her 3-year-old daughter, who keeps her busy and full of joy.

Meet Belle, Our Dedicated Sterile Technician. As a reliable and detail-oriented sterile technician, Belle plays a key role in maintaining a clean and efficient office environment. Whether she's sanitizing instruments, ensuring equipment is ready for patient use, or managing document scanning, Belle is always on top of the task at hand. With a strong commitment to accountability and loyalty, Belle is the go-to team member for helping the office in any capacity. Her positive attitude and proactive approach contribute to a welcoming and productive work atmosphere. Outside of her work at the office, Belle is a dedicated college student, working toward graduation. In her downtime, she enjoys spending quality time with her siblings and indulging in her love of reading - if not studying!
Kim N.: RDA, Patient Care Coordinator
Kimberly has been apart of the dental field since 2021 and joined our team in 2024. She graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Microbiology and is currently in the process of applying to dental school to become a dentist. Her favorite part about dentistry is getting to know patients and learning new different languages! Outside of the clinic, you may catch her enjoying a walk at Green Lake, on the hiking trails, taking pictures around the world, or cheffing it up in the kitchen!

Our tiniest team member may be small, but she's full of personality! She’s a deerhead Chihuahua who graces our office Monday through Thursday, adding a dose of cuteness to every workday. She loves being carried like the queen she is, adores belly rubs, and never says no to a treat! Patients and staff alike can’t help but smile when she trots by, so be sure to say hello and give her a gentle pet next time you’re in!
